What’s my story and why I love Brooklyn Park? Let me tell you!
My Priorities
Public Safety
At the root of public safety issues we see a lack of basic needs and public resources. As your city council candidate, I want to increase the basic needs available, especially within the south end of Brooklyn Park. This means access to food, employment, and mental health resources.
Youth Investment
I want the city of Brooklyn Park to create pathways for success for our young people. Let’s partner with local organizations and implement a youth fellowship or youth program that gives them experience in addressing community issues, and let’s begin to incorporate their voices into our decision-making processes as well.
Equitable Economic Development
Equitable Economic Development means putting residents first. I have worked with the Blue Line Coalition and understand the risks of displacement for residents and small business owners. We need to put pressure on the developers to ensure that our voices are being heard.
